This autumn will see the release of the eagerly awaited new album by Massive Attack. The English group will then begin a long tour which will take in the Rockhal on 28 October.

Ancestors, founders or most influential band of the movement dubbed by journalists as “trip hop”, a group which turned England upside down and in its wake the whole of Europe, Massive Attack is finally returning to centre stage some six years after the release of the excellent “100th Window”.

Always considered one of the most influential and most symbolic groups of the last 15 years, Massive Attack has managed to retain some of that mystique which makes a group one of the greats.

The group is not only capable of imposing its brand in the studio, but also gives impressive live performances, creating an unparalleled atmosphere. A Massive Attack gig is bound to be different to anything you have ever witnessed before.

Whilst the new album will only be appearing in mid-September, the group, still led by Robert Del Naja (3D) and today seeing the return of Grant Marshall (Daddy G), continues to allow mystery to hang over its content. But one thing is certain: the album’s release will surely be one of the events of the year.

Massive Attack in concert: a visual and musical experience to be savoured intensely!
